Hope everyone had a great Easter holiday!
Right, some good news for you all is that...
Manufacture has now started for Primordial Playing Cards started over the last few weeks I have been finalising the orders for all the items in the campaign and everything as it stands is officially underway.
Near enough all the companies involved have given completion times of between 6-8 weeks for completion and delivery so with that and hopefully no issues along the way everything should arrive at Gambler's Warehouse ready for fulfilment in the July period.
The only part of the project I'm just waiting to give the green light for is for the foil sleeves for the special edition carat cases which should be within the next few days. They will be manufactured in-house by Gambler's Warehouse along with the actual playing cards so will have a faster then normal completion as opposed to me outsourcing this part of the project elsewhere.
One minor setback...
The only minor set back I have had is regarding the dice as the manufacturer I selected to oversee this part of the project informed me when I went to finalise the order that my original die selections from their website were no longer in stock and they wouldn't be supplying this specific die any more. So, at present I am speaking to 3-4 different manufacturers but at the moment they all don't seem to supply custom die which match my designs presented in the initial project.
Although the images in the Kickstarter campaign were graphical representations I want to avoid any major changes to the design but at the moment the manufacture companies are only giving me the option of Ivory die with black numbering and logo engraving for the Aether dice - which isn't too bad as it matches the other accessories colour-wise and with the Chaos dice, there are plenty of black marble die variations to choose from, however not that many whereby they can do them with red numbering and logo engraving so this is the harder one to address.
I have being supplied with a graphic examples (below) of the updated dies by the companies which in most cases look great but the Chaos dice on the new designs obviously differs heavily colour-wise from the original pure black marble I wanted so I'm at present continuing to inquire with other companies to try and find something exact or near-close to the original planned design. I will keep you all updated on this as things move forward on this issue.
At present, 658/707 of you have now completed your surveys which were sent so a small percentage of you need to do so. I have sent out some reminders individually and BackerKit will have automatically issued reminders as well so hopefully you have received them and will be completing them shortly as in some cases Kickstarter has already processed payments for your pledges - so for a most it's a case of just confirming and providing your shipping addresses.
I haven't received my BackerKit survey yet?
Of course, it happens sometimes, so the obvious thing to do first is check your spam folders to see if it is in there. If it isn't you can try and enter your email in this recovery link: https://primordialcards.backerkit.com/ and afterwards the system will resend the survey to address entered and it should come through. Worse case scenario if both these options fail then I can update your email address on file with an alternate one and send your survey to that address instead, feel free to drop me a DM if you would like me to do this.

Time flies! BackerKit surveys being locked tonight and manufacture begins this week!

Hi guys
Well... we are just about there and I'm pleased to inform you that at the end of the day I will be finally locking in the surveys and starting the manufacture process for Primordial Playing Cards over the coming week.
The surveys will be locked about 12 hours from now, payment methods charged tomorrow evening and on Monday I will be in contact with each company involved with the manufacture to green-light everything. Towards the end of the coming week will have all the estimated completion dates from each which will be outlined on the next project update.
Although this is long in advance, once the surveys are locked right up to the point fulfilment begins you will still be able to change your shipping address for any reason if you need to.
A quick reminder...
At present, 654/707 of you have now completed your surveys which were sent so a small percentage of you need to do so. Just thought I'd do a little update to check in on everyone.
Currently everything is going well on my side so we are just waiting to lock in the BackerKit surveys and afterwards we can begin manufacture.
At present most of you have filled them out and finalised the pledges and additional orders. Currently there are just under 100 of you left to do this but there is still plenty of time to do them.
A quick reminder...
The surveys will be active for a total of 30 days. After this period they will be locked in on 13th April. Once locked in we will have the final count for all the additional items in the campaign such as the coins, carat cases, art prints and I can begin the process of manufacture with all the companies involved as after this period I'll know how many to order in total.

BackerKit surveys are now live!

Hey guys!
Just to let you all know as you read this your BackerKit surveys will have landed in your inboxes so you can go ahead and finalise your current orders/pledges as well as add any additional items and make changes to shipping addresses if needed. Nearly half of all backers have completed the surveys as well which is great!
The surveys will be active for a total of 30 days. After this period they will be locked in on 13th April. Once locked in we will have the final count for all the additional items in the campaign such as the coins, carat cases, art prints and I can begin the process of manufacture with all the companies involved as after this period I'll know how many to order in total.
A few notes to address some regular questions that have been put to me regarding these surveys.
Do I need to select the items listed in my initial reward tier from the Kickstarter campaign and add them to the basket?
No. Items you selected as reward tiers in the initial campaign are automatically applied to the basket and you will see them already applied when you view your individual surveys so with this you do not need to select the same items from the add-ons list.
For anyone who increased the initial pledge amount in order to secure additional items aside from the ones listed in the initial reward tier you will see these funds are applied automatically as credit to your BackerKit account. If this applies to you then all you have to do is select all the additional items you increased for from the list off add-ons, add them to the basket and when you head to the checkout page you can finalise your order using this credit already applied to your account.
Can I change my add-ons or shipping address if I need to after I have confirmed my order?
Yes, during this period of 30 days you can revisit your survey using the same link that was sent to you in your email and you can change your order and update shipping details as normal. This facility will be available up to the point the surveys are locked on 13th April.
In the initial campaign the limited edition Pantheon deck was limited to one per backer as a special opening tier, does the same apply for the BackerKit survey?
Nope! As there were a few editions of the Pantheon edition deck remaining after the campaign so the remaining number have been listed as add-ons on the survey - and there is no restriction in amount per-backer now the initial campaign is over. Backers can order more then one if they wish, even if they already pledged toward one in the special opening tier in the Kickstarter campaign.

Hey guys
Just a quick update for you all. The BackerKit surveys for this project are nearly set up. Currently Kickstarter is processing payments for your pledges but a small percentage haven't due to your registered payment methods being declined.
If your pledge was declined, log in to Kickstarter and click the “Fix payment” button in the banner at the top of your screen. This will guide you through the process of changing or retrying your payment method.. We'll also send you an email every 48 hours with a direct link to correct the issue. But don't delay: backers have 7 days to resolve payment issues before they're dropped from the project. We'll also automatically retry your pledge at the end of this timeframe.
It may not necessarily be the case that there’s a specific issue with your card, so much as that you’ll need to ask your bank why this charge in particular is being declined. You may also want to include the details of this transaction, such as:
The charge being from Kickstarter.
The amount pledged for the project.
The date when Kickstarter attempted to collect your pledge. This was the date that the project you backed ended. If the project hasn't ended yet, you can use the date you attempted to pledge.
Additionally, it may be helpful to request that your bank “whitelist” any charges from Kickstarter.
Once you’ve contacted your bank, feel free to log in to the Kickstarter account from which you pledged and click the “Fix Payment” button in the “Important Notifications” banner.
Kickstarter will be making the final attempts to process these payments over the coming week and if they are unable to again for any reason then pledges will sadly be automatically dropped from the campaign.
I will be submitting the BackerKit surverys for final review at the end of the this week before sending them out to you after the weekend and we can finally start everything moving with finalising your orders and the manufacture of Primordial playing cards can move forwards.
